It was a scorching hot afternoon when the second-grade students were going to have a team competition of table-tennis. The students not only crowded the narrow competition room, but also screamed uncontrollably.
At the middle, we all had butterflies chasing in our stomach. All of a sudden, two of our partners seamed to give up because of they thought that they might be losing the game. But at the moment, Yi-Chao said, “Why we are here has less to do with winning while more to do with having fun and enjoying the games. So just do your best and don’t give up! ”
How amazing the words Yi-Chao said. It really cheered all of us. As is known to everyone, we fortunately won the championship, and what Yi-Chao said still rings in my ear as if it happened yesterday; that is, it is not the thrill of getting championship but the whole class sticking together and enjoying the competition that matters.
